Mike Yew is the Group Managing Director and Co-Founder of Talents First, a boutique executive search and recruitment consultancy established in 2009. With over 25 years of experience in international talent acquisition, Mike has built a reputation for excellence in leadership recruitment and strategic hiring across industrial and service sectors globally.

Holding a degree in Corporate Finance, Mike began his career in 1998 at a UK-based executive search firm backed by Lloyds Development Capital. He quickly rose to manage a profit center, leading a team of four consultants focused on the UK recruitment market. By 2001, he played a pivotal role in launching the firm's European division, which he grew from a solo operation into a high-performing team of 12 consultants. His leadership helped expand the firm’s reach across Europe, establishing new offices and delivering recruitment solutions to industries including industrial and engineering, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and business services.

Under Mike’s leadership, Talents First has grown into a trusted recruitment partner serving clients globally. He places strong emphasis on team collaboration, innovation, and building long-term client relationships. Known for his strategic mindset, global perspective, and ability to navigate complex recruitment challenges, Mike continues to shape the firm’s growth with a focus on excellence and adaptability.
